Basic Introduction to the Bible

  1. The Bible contains 66 smaller books of differing sizes and styles.
  2. These 66 books are divided into two sections: The Old Testament and The New Testament. The Old Testament covers before Jesus came; the New Testament covers after Jesus came.
  3. Each testament has different sections of books based on historical setting or style. The table of contents below maps them out.
